Peachy Valentines Day Makeup Look

It's nearly Valentines day and I wanted to share my first ever makeup look on my blog. I don't want to say 'tutorial' because i'm not a makeup artist, but I listed all the products I used and what steps I did for this look if anyone was interested. I chose a very peachy-pink look as it's one of my favourite looks to do and can be subtle but still very gorgeous, whether you're going out or staying in with your man on Valentines day. So here it is, here is my peachy Valentines Day makeup look for you all.

Products I used in this look:
I Heart Makeup Chocolate & Peaches Palette
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
Collection Lasting Foundation in Cool Ivory
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair
E.L.F Finishing Powder in Light/Fair
Lottie London Arch Rivals Volume Powder in medium
Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Primer
Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner
Miss Sporty Pump Up Lash Waterproof Mascara
Collection Supersize Mascara
Collection Gorgeous Glow Blush Block
Nude By Nature Mineral Bronzer
Makeup Revolution Highlighter Palette
MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Laquer in Halcyon
WetNWild Lip Gloss
Primark Workout Fix Up Spray

So I start with an already clean and moisturised face and the first product I use is the Smashbox Primer, which I just use a small amount of on my forehead cheeks and nose before moving on to my Collection Lasting Perfection foundation. I use a beauty blender to apply this all over my face, I only need to apply this once as it has good coverage and I hate wearing too much foundation. I then take my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer and use this on any spots and blemishes that are visible though my foundation (thankfully there were hardly any blemishes when I did this) and then I apply some under my eyes and use a sponge to blend it all in. To finish off my skin I apply my E.L.F finishing Powder all over my face with a powder brush.

When I'm done with my base, I move onto my eyebrows, which I use a brush to neaten them up before I take my Lottie London eyebrow powder to fill in my brows; I didn't use a brow pencil with this look because I didn't want them looking too dark or intense. I then move onto my eyes, which I start my applying a little Makeup Revolution eye primer with my finger and dab into my lid. The I Heart Makeup Chocolate and Peaches Palette is the main inspiration for this look and I start my eye look with the shade Satisfy all over my eyelid and under my eye with a big fluffy brush. I then take the shade Peach mixed with some of the shade Soft with a smaller eyeshadow brush and apply it all over my lid up to the crease and I make sure to use a lot of product because I really want the colour to stand out, I also take a skinny brush and apply some along my bottom lash line. Lastly from the Chocolate and Peaches palette I take the colour Lush and use this as a transition colour to blend out the peachy shade so it doesn't look too intense and harsh.

Next I line my eyes with an Eyeko eyeliner and keep the liner and wind quite simple because I don't want it to be too big or long or dark and take the attention away from the peachy eyes. I then move on to mascara (my least favourite part), I firstly curl my eyelashes and then apply some Collection Supersize mascara on both my top and bottom lases, I usually go for two coats and wiggle it all over to make sure my lashes aren't clumped together. I then take my Miss Sporty mascara and apply this once again on my top and bottom lashes, I like to use this mascara after as it's a lot thicker and the wand is big and it doesn't apply as well as the Collection one,  and it just adds more volume and length to my lashes. I then take a flat brush and my concealer and clean up my liner and brows if I need it, I usually do this under my eyeliner to hide the eyeshadow that I blended out too far.

I then go back to my face and start by applying the Collection blush block, focusing more on the pinky colours and I swipe this on the apples of my cheeks and try not to take it too far back onto my cheekbones, I also apply some to my nose. I also get a fluffy brush and apply some to my eyelids and inner corners of my eyes to make them shimmer, as the eyeshadows I used are matte. Next I take my bronzer and apply it to my cheekbones (I didn't use any contour in this look so I us bronzer on my cheekbones instead), my nose, my hairline, temples and a little on my jawline. This adds such a nice, healthy glow to my face and it's quite subtle so it doesn't look to dark on my pale face. Lastly I take my Makeup Revolution palette and I dip my fan brush into the middle colour, which is just a glowy, peachy highlight; I apply a lot of this to my cheekbones, the tip of my nose, the cupids bow, my brow bones and some above my eyebrows. You can never have enough highlighter so I tend to just put this everywhere that I want to glow.

On to the lips now and I chose the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer (absolute favourite liquid lipstick) in the colour Halcyon, which is just a nude peachy colour. I went straight in to applying this all over my lips, I didn't use a lip liner as I don't have one in a nude shade. I then decided to apply some glittery lip gloss, which just makes my lips look plumper, but if I was actually going to wear this out on Valentines Day I'd skip the gloss as it's very sticky and if you're doing some kissing I'm sure your man doesn't want to get it all over his mouth. The liquid lipstick thankfully doesn't come off that easily so it's much better to eat, drink and kiss without it getting anywhere.

Finally I spritz some setting spray on my face and voila! My peachy Valentines Day makeup look is complete. This look is totally wearable day and night and can be worn anywhere. I really like doing this look and will probably be worn by me on Valentines Day no matter what I do. Thanks for getting this far in my blog post guys and I hope everyone has a fab Valentines Day. 💗
